Published pricing in healthcare software, and why we insist on it
September 7, 2026 · Prasar Group · 4 min read
Try to find the price of most healthcare operations software and you will hit a form. Name, email, phone, company size, and a promise that a representative will reach out. The price is a negotiation, and the negotiation starts after you have invested an hour in a demo.
We publish our prices. Every Prasar Group product that sells software lists what it costs on the website, before any conversation. This is not a marketing tactic so much as a description of who we sell to and how we want to be treated by them.
The numbers
- ZeitRide is $49 per active vehicle per month. Unlimited trips, dispatchers, staff seats, and driver app access are included. No setup fee, no per-trip fee, month-to-month. The dash cam add-on is $29 per equipped vehicle per month. There is a 14-day free trial with no credit card.
- Adult Day Genie is $99 per month for the attendance plan, or $299 per month for the full platform covering up to 100 members, then $5 per additional member. The Medicaid billing add-on is 0.10% of each claim's billed value. Month-to-month, no setup fee, and a HIPAA Business Associate Agreement with every center on every plan.
- Dial Raven is $14.99 per user per month on the Starter plan and $24.99 per user per month on Pro, which adds business SMS, auto-attendant, call recording, and team chat. No setup fees, no long-term contracts, and number porting is included. Desk phones are a separate one-time purchase and are never required, since the ConnectUC app runs on mobile, desktop, and browser.
Those numbers live on the product pricing pages, in the FAQ, and in the structured data search engines and AI assistants read, so that the answer to "how much does it cost" is the same wherever the question is asked.
Why hidden pricing fails small operators
Quote-only pricing exists so a vendor can charge each customer the most that customer will bear. That model works when buyers are large and procurement is slow. Our buyers are a dispatcher who also drives on Fridays, or a center director who does the billing at night. They do not have a procurement team. They have a question, and a form between them and the answer is a reason to close the tab.
Hidden pricing also hides the shape of the price. Per-participant fees, per-trip fees, and onboarding charges all look small in a quote and add up in a year. A published price with a published structure lets an operator do the arithmetic for their own fleet or census before they talk to anyone.
What publishing forces on us
A public price is a commitment to keep the product worth that price for everyone, not just the customers who negotiated well. It removes the option of making up for a weak product with a strong sales process. And it means that when we change a price, we change it in the open, with the reasoning written down. Adult Day Genie's billing add-on moved from a flat per-claim fee to a percentage of claim value in August 2026, and the pricing page says so.
We think this is simply what a company that operates alongside its customers should do. The full detail for each product is on its own site: ZeitRide pricing, Adult Day Genie pricing, and Dial Raven pricing.
